Re: NHS Health surcharge scheme - Tier 1 Visa Extension

abhisheks9 wrote:i haven't gone through links/PDFs but if we all get extension before changes, UKBA won't really contact us to pay extra NHS levy?
so my guess is go for extension on existing fee before any NHS charge is levied and save ourself?
Again smart thinking

Re: New rules to Tier 1 (general): 3-5 years for 2nd extensi

I still have a duobt on this new amendment. For example a dependent need 4 years to complete 5 and main applicant need only 3 then will they give same 4 years to both main applicant and dependent or 3 years.

It seem you will get minimum 5 years, but any time if you spend 5 year period you can apply for ILR then

and why they are charging immigrants only (they are paying same tax as other) and on top of that their visa fees as well which is already very expensive. They are trying to squeeze the last juice from us.

Re: NHS Health surcharge scheme - Tier 1 Visa Extension

I doubt that the Scottish government will bring in separate NHS charging at point-of-use. Westminster could try to force the Scottish government, but given the recent referendum result I don't think they would try it. However, because immigration is reserved to Westminster, the NHS health levy will...

Re: Applying For ILR Nov 2014

Then I think you can go and get your ILR and then your family can apply for ILR later (before the visa expiry).

Senior members please correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Glasgow PEO experience - saturday, 18 Oct

Please tell me how many years you got and what was the date of your first Tier 1 visa date? However, new rules in place I would expect every one would get 3-5 years of extensions by 20 Oct 2014. Thanks

ILR for Tier 1 due to absence and dependent expiry of visa

Hi, I initially got my Tier 1 visa on NOV 2009 and moved to UK in 24 April 2010 with my family, I did not find suitable jobs that time within UK and I was offered a job in a global firm (with offices accross the world including in UK), I signed up the contract while in UK. I moved to overseas on Feb...
