Re: hi

bad luck....you will be considered as 28 and above. So you got to show the salary mentioned for 28 and above. salary is not the only criteria, you can score the points in experience , wife's degree, your masters degree etc. Even some national award could win some points for you. Roams, In addition ...

EC question: Is the HSMP letter returned?

Hello all,

For those who have applied for EC, is the original HSMP letter returned or does the High Commission keep it?

Thanks

Thanks for the commisserations, timefactor. After a flurry of email exchanges with the case worker, the missing pay slips have not been located. She recalled my file from their storage facility and they were not there. But offered to copy the copies they had made and send them to me. Which I gladly ...

Nanji, I may be missing something, but if you are talking about the last 12 months earnings (say July 2003 to June 2004), then as per my understanding income taxes are not due yet. Doesnt the fiscal year in Pakistan run from June to July with the tax due date bieng the subseqent end of September? So...

Outrageously long shot naive nubile ignoramus-type question

I will be in the UK on a visit visa soon, and will be there for over a month. Is there some way to get the HSMP EC/Visa stamped on my passport while in the UK? I imagine the response to this will probably be a succint, curt "NO" but, perhaps not. While, in principle, there is no problem in...

Missing Originals

The documents sent back to me by the HSMP team are missing a number of payslips, all originals. Quite mysterious really, because there was a sheaf of them, and some are there and some are not, in no obvious pattern. I have sent them an email. Has anybody else had a similar experience? Were you able ...

Kiwi Mike,

If all the evidence is there and in order, what other issues could there be? I am not asking this question frivolously.

Rajp,

My reference number is also 010***. This eternal wait is getting to be quite exasperating. When I applied (first week of Jan), the published turnaround time was a day for 90% of applications. Now they say 8 weeks minimum, but even that is already old news. :x
