Please be strong for you and your partner too- this is not the end. I am sure once you show proof of this they will accept the application - it is silly they cannot see even without that publc funds taken away he will be able to support you. Yes unfortunately that seems to be the most common reply anyway, so i'm not sure if it will help as the number for VFS states they can't tell you about the progress of the application but maybe you can ask how long it is taking on average for the centre you applied for (Chennai) :( http://www.vfs-uk...
