Very well said Rog.
HSMP ext is just a formality I beleive which helps HO to fill it coffers.
Rather than taking 121 and blocking the passport of people HO shud take a flat fee of XYX(greater than 121) and stamp the ppt in 3 days :lol:

Drew.. Is the tax paid on cumulative basis? Let me provide a scenario: If i earn 4000 in one monthly and the next month I earn 3000 will the tax be calculated on - 48000/yr income on first month and 36000/yr on second month or - (4000+3000)/2 = 3500/month and 42000/yr?? Ya you are right the letter is bit old. The prob is my friend is travelling across the world and on a 3 month long holiday. I cant wait till he comes back and unfortunately he wont take the pain of printing a letter and sending it to me :( Whats your gut felling should I go ahead with the old letter?

I am staying with a family friend and I have a letter stating that I stay with them. But the letter is dated Jan 2004.
Can i use the same letter?
Also as a proof that I am staying at the same place, my bank statement has the same address.

What are the documents required for HSMP extension if somone is on contract job.
As things are mostly online these days recruting agenices donot give paper contracts, and if working with Umbrella company they also dont give any paper as well.
