There is no cooling period for changing from Tier 2 ICT dependent visa to Tier 2 G, but you need to apply tier 2 g from our home country...

A Very important question raised by you.

since Tier 2 ICT visa doesn't qualify for ILR but still govt is insisting on one year cooling period..... A very strange rule..... :(

They should considered Tier 2 ICT visa as a different category than Tier 2 G, where ILR is possible after 5 years...

For Tier 2 ICT, 12 month cooling-off period does not apply if he submit a new application as a high earner with an annual salary of £155,300 or more.

The maximum total duration of stay in the UK under this visa category is 9 years....

For Tier 2 ICT Extension application, my immigration lawyer confirmed that maintenance funds is not required i,e £945(Self) +£630 for each dependent.
