A child born abroad,to a person who is British other than by descent, is a British citizen by descent and appl...

You will only hear from ho when a decision is made or if they require additional documents.

You don't get anything while you wait.

Thank you CR001 for the reply. Wait is still on.

I know the standard wait time is 8 weeks. Just wanted to know, in between, if anyone has got any correspondence from UKVI?

Child’s Set(F)

Hello everyone
Good morning

After receiving ILR, we applied Set(F) for our under 16, via standard application. It’s been already 4-5 weeks after Sopra biometric. Haven’t heard back anything.

Wondering if anyone in similar situation?
Please keep posted.
Thank you.

Re: SET LR application documents required?

This has been repeated a lot of times here :!: SET(LR) has no concept of dependant as you must qualify and apply on your own. There is no need to provide evidence on your spouse/dependents at all. The online doc list is not accurate Thanks Zimba. I beg my Apologies, that I happen to miss to read th...

But it asks for cohabitation documents {doesn't particularly say provide two though}. Please kindly give suggestions on my docs list below if I have ...

Applicants may apply for SET(LR) no sooner than 28 days before the 10th anniversary of the initial entry and before expiry of leave. Can the child apply for SET(LR) too?
No, he isn't qualified for it. He is here for 7.5 yrs only. He holds T1E LTR atm, which expires along with us at the same time.
