Re: Update on my application

Have you opt for “keep my passport”? If that is the case it is likely they will grant you the visa and from experience of people have come across whose passport has been requested have been granted visa but you won’t know the outcome until you receive your passport.

Re: Travelling to the U.K. whilst awaiting Spouse Visa decision?

It is just a load of guesswork that you get on this forum. Guesswork on this platform which is FREE?? I would take advice from the moderators of this group THAN lawyers or solicitors? Personally, I have used this forum for many years and it has helped me along the way and will I classify their guid...

Re: Spouse visa appeal

Paper appeal are generally quicker than oral. Generally when FTT has received your appeal, they will forward it to the HO for review and it is usually reviewed by another senior ECO or ECM if however the decision is overturned then no need to attend the court otherwise if decision is upheld then you...

Re: Travelling to the U.K. whilst awaiting Spouse Visa decision?

If you have an application such as settlement visa pending then travelling is NOT recommended as your application flagged up at the border and it is possible you could be detained or denied entry into the UK. I would play it safe and avoid all this problems and wait till the result is out whilst thi...

It’s generic like I said. VAF is Visa application for which is issued by the home office while the GWF is generated by the ACCESS GOV. I have seen tons of this emails stop getting worried.

The email you received is generic and it is usually sent after you have attended your biometrics or sometimes they don't so be patient.

Re: Missed call from uk visa application centre

Your application is still within 17WD and asking for IHS fee means your application will be considered but you won't know the decision or outcome of your application until you recieve your passport. Hopefully they will ring you back again.

Re: Missed call from uk visa application centre

They might ring you back again if you have missed the call and usually you recieve a collection email or they sent you a text message to say your passport is ready for collection or in some cases they ring you. Hopefully it's a message asking you to pick up your passport and what is your current WD?

Re: Can I combine my earning from Past Permanent job and Self Employment earning with in current year?

I agree with CR001 that you should have stayed in your previous employment before switching to self employed. Unfortunately, you can't apply under employment route except if you can find another employment route then it is possible you can apply under CAT B provided you can fulfill the 2 conditions ...

Re: Urgent help with fortnightly pay for financial requirements

Why don't you wait for your next pay slip then apply in mid Nov? rather than trying to rush things since you are applying under CAT A Non salaried and you can also do some overtime which is calculated using the same approach. Do not rush to submit your application because meeting the financial requi...
