Re: Fiance or Marriage Visa assistance needed

Hello everyone I am a British citizen who wants to get my fiance to come to UK from Nigeria so we can get married and apply for the spouse visa. I was earning 37k but have reduced my hours recently (only one month) and now it will be 29,600. It still meets the requirements but i saw somewhere where...

Re: UK Spouse Visa - Maternity Leave Question

The application is based on gross income rather than net, so deductions won't matter. That said, the 8 days unpaid leave may be considered days you did not receive income. To be on the safe side, you may be better off applying under category B and providing 12 months worth of payslips and bank stat...

Re: Spouse visa appeal

It has happened to a lot of people that I know personally and the best way is suggested by THO. You can contact your local MP and he or she can escalate your concerns with the HO since they have a special desk with them and I will also make a complaint about the service you have received.

Re: Financial Threshold Requirement For Spouse Visa Application

Yeah I was working in the UK up to 2010 before moving back to Nigeria. Since you have not been with the same employer for 6 months then you can't apply under CAT A except to wait for 6 months before you can apply. Op clearly indicated earlier that he is planning to apply in next year march which is...

Re: Spouse visa confusion: visa4uk been replaced with new application system

Don't confuse visa4uk application form with ACCESS UK, I haven't come across anywhere it will ask you that but if it does then you will need to say your form is filling the form since she's the applicant.

Re: Spouse visa confusion: visa4uk been replaced with new application system

Yes you can do that but don't forget that the application form is meant for the applicant like I said before and you can also make payment on behalf of the applicant and beware of hidden fees when paying with debit card.

Yes I agree there's a bit of discretion however I am of the view that it won't apply traffic offence in the case of the OP. Here is what the guidance mentioned under general grounds for refusal https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/827971/GGF...

You're not applying as CAT F or CAT G but CAT A if you have been with you employer for 6 months or more then the question doesn't apply to you.

Re: Child's first British passport applying from Pakistan

Submit everything about the birth of your child including her mothers identity, education as they usually ask you a lot of unnecessary documents and DNA is not mentioned in the guidance if both parents are married but they do ask in some certain cases.

Re: Refusal based on lack of evidence (although the evidence was supplied)

If this is a spouse visa then AR doesn't work as it will be totally ignored and also ROA is given. Alot of members have been refused based on missing evidence despite submitted. I will visit your local MP asap and esclate your concerns as well as your disatisfaction with the decison. It is possible ...

unfortunately No, because you can't send any documents to Sheffield anymore unless ECO use the evidence flexibility to request for missing documents.

Re: Is an Appendix 2 form required? Qs priority service

I get your point. Until there's clear message from HO not to include the appendix 2 among the supporting documents, I believe it is safer to include it. I have been on this platforum a while now and if there's any update in the forum, it is usually annouced so until then it is safer to include.

Re: Is an Appendix 2 form required? Qs priority service

The issue of appendix 2 is not to be debatable because No one has yet come across any evidence which suggest Appendix 2 is not to be submitted on Access UK. I have recently come across 2 refusals and one of the reason was based on the applicant didn't submit appendix 2 whilst this is said, some memb...

British citizenship for child born abroad

I have a friend who had ILR before his child was born in Kenya but now he has British passport after the child was born. Is it possible for him to register his child as a BC under the discretion of the Home Secretary.

Your advice will be highly appreciated.
