Re: OVER 6 WEEK RULE ABSENCE

Hi- I'm slightly confused about this rule. My question is: Do we have to mention the absences which are longer than 6 week or all the trips needs to be mentioned if I was cumulatively out of Ireland for more than 6 week in any given year? E.g. I can have 7 trips of one week long. Does that count as ...

Re: Parent EU1 appeal refused new file or JR

The OP did do a minister review. The review was rejected because OP sent only 700 Euros in 9 months to her mother. Minister believes that she isn't fully dependent on him and hence doesn't qualify as a family member of EU Citizen. Obie- what do you suggest in this case? Should OP put a new file and ...

Re: Any news on Sept/Nov 2016 EU1 applications?

Why would you complain to commission when she is given a stamp 4 and you have all the rights on that stamp.

That time is even counted towards passport eligibility.

Stay calm, keep patience and decision will arrive around 8 months and 20 days.

Re: EU1 Parent Refusal

Do you suggest doing on top of putting in the review?

I believe the refusal itself is very unfair so sending an email with an explanation will help and can that reverse the decision?

Re: SS route for parents to Ireland

I still suggest to at least try for a visit visa to the UK and show strong ties with the UK. This is your best bet at the moment. please keep in mind that you may not have enough time to do SS route. you may have to live in Ireland for 5 years. It's not a bad place to live and I don't intend to move...

Re: SS route for parents to Ireland

No, a visa can't be refused due to that.

It's highly unlikely to get a visit visa for uk after applying for an Irish visa under directive.

Re: Travelling to the UK with parent on EUFAM4

Hi,

Your parents can travel with you without requiring a visa. You'll need to go to airline counter before going through security.

They will need visit visa if they're travelling alone.

Hope that helps.

Re: Can some please give some insight?

Self sufficient means you will survive in Ireland without public funds. You will need to have good amount of money in the bank and fully comprehensive insurance for family before you apply under this category. Rental from SA property will help. It will be under both of your name and you both should ...

Re: Can some please give some insight?

Hi,

You will apply using form EU1 once you're in Ireland. This needs to be done within first three months of arrival.

In order to get EU1 approved, you will need to exercise your treaty. You'll either need to employee, self-employed, student or self-sufficient.

Re: UK Visitor Visa from Ireland for EUFAM Parent

Hi shpirtshqipe,

As your mother is residing in the Ireland so her application will be treated exactly in the same manner as from the home country.

If you're travelling with your mother to the UK then she doesn't require a visa and can 5 year residence card should be good enough.

Regards,
Zeeshan

INIS updates their re-entry processing timeline daily.

As per below, they are processing applications received on 1st March so this should take 5-6 days max.
