Passport Verification on Pembroke

One of my British friend travelled from Pembroke to Ireland and the border agency randomly checked his passport and took for verification. They returned the passport after 10 minutes but requested his Ireland residence address and what he does in Ireland. Why would they need residence address of a B...

The letter you have received is good enough for EU1. You don't need to wait for ROS registration.

Re: Is it possible to apply for IreEU1 from another EU count

EU1 isn't actually a visa. It's just a confirmation of your status in Ireland.

EU1 is granted based on EU national exercising their treaty rights in the Ireland and that's why it's not possible to apply for EU1 if you're not resident in the Ireland.

Hope that helps.

You'll need to apply for Type C visa first and then apply EU1 once you have all the required documents.

Re: Flying via Heathrow - EUFAM4 - Transit visa??

You may have a slight problem if the spouse isn't in the UK and you're trying to land into UK.

You either need to travel with your spouse or join them in the UK if you intend to use EU4FAM.

I'll suggest get a visa or better get a return flight to Dublin.

Flying out will not be a problem.

PR Date Query

Hi All,

I'm asking this question for one of my friend. Her mother came to Ireland in November 2015 and got EU4FAM in July 2016. My friend is working since November 2015. She had temp stamp issued on Jan 2016.

Will she be eligible for PR on November 2020 or Jan 2021 or July 2021?

Re: Stamp 4 eufam holder visiting UK

There is no immigration when you travel from ROI to UK via air.

Just book tickets and get the passport done :) its that easy and simple.

Speaking from personal experience!!

ith the current processing times being 12 weeks or more for the temporary permission to remain, what do I do if I haven't received the letter of acknowledgment in time? Re: Surinder Singh route/ FP

The EEA dependents can move back to UK without a visa and apply for RC directly but it's not the safest route. It's possible legally but UK plays the hard ball. For FP, I guess time is around 15-30 days and you will need to provide water tight documentation for residency, wife's economical activity ...

Re: Surinder Singh route/ FP

You can either apply for FP or move back to UK and apply for RC. I believe you're living for more than 6 months in the ROI so applying for FP shouldn't be an issue. If you got solid paper work then you may get it. If not, then you have nothing to lose :) I believe this will not impact your case in R...
