Cool, thanks for your reply. And I really hope it hasn't changed.

Anyone else with the recent experience of the same?

PEO appointment for PBS dependent application

Hi all,

Can the main applicant accompany the dependent at their PEO appointment?

I have booked a PEO appointment for my wife's PBS dependent extension(Just for herself). Will they let me in with her during the appointment or only the applicant will be let in?

Re: ILR on Tier 1 General Migrant

Correct, no explicit balance is required (as was the case for previous T1 extensions) & there is no requirement to maintain a given balance for any number of months.
Thats not correct. For tier 1 extensions we were supposed to show the minimum funds requirement of £900 for the last 90 days.

They also told me that, the earliest date I can apply for ILR is 02/07/2015.
Isn't it the earliest date you can apply is 30/06/2015??? Its 28 days before you complete 5 years on 28/07/2015.

I have never got any bonus :-) but example could be a bonus slip (like you get a pay slip .. something similar) and a bank statement ... I think the bonus amount will be added to the recent salary and the payslip will have both salary and bonus in it (tax will deducted on the whole amount). Source:...

Re: Teir 1 (General) Dependent Clarification

She can continue on her current visa until the end of it and then apply for a PBS extension to make it 5 years.

DONT APPLY EXTENSION NOW! Otherwise you have to pay the health surcharge for her which is £200/year.

Wow...UKBA is getting more and more tougher these days. What I don't understand is how can these people with payslips prove to UKBA that their employment was genuine at the time of their tier 1 initial application when the company is dissolved and the applicant's records are not with HMRC regarding ...

She can apply her extension as a PBS dependent even though you have been granted ILR recently. And she will get a maximum of 3 years extension. She has to provide proof of maintenance funds. Re: New fee approved: -2015

The home office have also confirmed if the original booking was made prior to 6 April 2015 for an appointment after 6 April 2015, the fee increase does not need to be paid as the full fee was paid in advance at the time of booking. So no discrepancy.
If this is true, Money well saved.

Re: Tier 1 General - ILR 28 days rule

Actually the 5 years count from the date you have entered the UK(i.e 18/09/2010 - 17/09/2015) So you will be eligible to apply 28 days before 17/09/2015 which is from 20/08/2015. As your visa is valid until 31/08/2015, you still have 11 days to apply for your ILR. Source: https://www.gov.uk/governme...

Did you try this. I booked a date before 6 April 2015 for an early date. I have now changed the date to the one I need. I can confirm this method HAS WORKED . I was able to re-schedule the appointment and was not asked to pay any difference. I still have the payment confirmation sheet which confirm...

You don't need to worry, I used SJD Accountancy for 2 years and also got an extension with the letter they have provided. They are one of the top accountancy firms in UK. However they are a bit expensive then the rest of the accountancy firms out there.
