Re: ILR for Spouse - peculiar case

As you are married and your wife entered uk before the new rules came into existence in 2012, you should both be able to apply for ILR . This is not correct information. The wife was on her own Tier 1 visa as a main applicant not as a dependent. Her qualifying period starts when she switched to Tie...

Re: ILR for Spouse - peculiar case

Tier1G extensions are closing but not Tier1G dependents.

And at the time of her ILR, she would apply for ILR and then immediately for citizenship without waiting for 1 year (provided if you hold the citizenship as well).

Btw, when you two are married and started living together?

I think the current fee for ILR through Tier1-G using SET(O) is £1093 and it is going to be £1500 from April 2015

Re: ILR main applicant + PBS dependent on same day PEO

Thanks cfdman for your reply. So in my case, I don't think any documents I submit for my ILR may be needed for my wife's PBS dependent extension visa. Just to be clear. I am going to list the documents I need to submit for her visa extension 1)3 months recent bank statements showing funds £630 2)Mar...

Re: SET (LR) application fee heavily rising from £1093 to £1

That's a good question. Normally when you reschedule, you don't have to pay the fees again as payment would already have been taken. However, with the fee changes, the question is would the system recognise the fee increase and ask to pay the difference. Only someone who has already tried this meth...

Re: SET (LR) application fee heavily rising from £1093 to £1

Thanks for your reply and I agree that you will lose £100 if you cancel the appointment however, rescheduling is free and can reschedule as many times as possible, I think. So if you want to postpone beyond 17th May, do we have to pay the difference of the new fees or will it be automatically cancel...
