Oh also i want to add my dad will be the one sponsoring my husband not me. He's sponsored a few relatives before so he knows what he's doing and none of them have overstayed either, will this matter or will it not make a difference?

I understand what you are saying, i dont think your being too harsh but whats the point of having a family visiting visa if they think the spouse isn't going to return? They should just cancel that visa then so obviously there must be some way that a husband can come visit his wife, or vice versa. M...

could an admin close this thread please, we've decided not to rush anything and our solicitor is helping us out with everything so id rather close this thread and concentrate on looking at a visiting visa for the time being, thank you

It's just a habit of mine of over analysing things, i just turned 20 maybe thats why! Lol

I'm probably going to miss it anyway because we dont even know for definate if he has passed or failed the speaking test, if he fails and i still send off for the application then we could get in trouble because at the bottom of the certificate it has a date of when the certificate was issued :/

Some of you have been saying to just send the documents without the certificate for his speaking test.. when he books and goes in for his appointment won't they check the documents or ask if he has all the required certificates? If he lies and says yes then if it comes to we have to appeal wont they...

If you apply before 9/7 and get refused and appeal and win, then the old rules apply to you.However if you loose at appeal, you will then have to reapply again and the new rules will apply to you. My advise is to apply without certificate and get refused and appeal.That would be much better than yo...

yeh the new laws will be a big problem for me, im not even earning anywhere near the 22k they're asking for, plus im due to give birth in the next 5 weeks and won't be able to work again for a good few months after that which make just make everything even longer.
