Yeah.. the actual reason as written by the ECO was that 'Gross' was not mentioned even though it was in my contract and it can be worked out via my payslips... My MP received a response from Visa customer services stating that I did not submit payslips or bank statements as evidence of gross income....

Sorry for the late reply. The appeal is in progress and the appeals team in chennai have confirmed that. My MP received a reply from the Visa office customer services stating that I did not submit pay slips and bank statements as evidence of gross income - which my MP is currently challenging as thi...

I just wish I could have answered that :) for the appeal, we haven't sent any original documents. So all documents are still with us. If they decide to overturn the decision, they will only request the passport for stamping. I'm sure there'd be someone else with a successful application who can resp...

Chennai is now well known for sending out these standard replies.

Its good that at least you received a response - be ready for another email in the next few days saying that a decision has been made.

I'm in the same situation - wait until April 30th for them to respond. What you can do in the meantime... to help you with the waiting game: Contact your MP and explain the situation. Ask them if they can help - they would usually write to the Visa office. Write to the Visa office yourself and get c...

I agree Vinny - as per the guidance, SU07 is not mandatory - but a lot of applications were rejected (post July 2012) and SU07 was mentioned as not submitted - so was mine. I wrote to the ECM asking whether it should be submitted if I was to reapply and he stated the below: Until we get clarificatio...

I would advise you to submit the form just in case.

@Aishpe

Your husband's passport copy and a copy of all the visa's to India should be provided to support your applications. Especially the visa used to go for the marriage.

There was a refusal quite recently because the visa was not there to support evidence of your relationship.

The TB certificate has no effect on the appeal - but if the appeal takes over 6 months, or the certificate expires before the decision is overturned, your wife will have to do the test again or renew the certificate before arriving in UK.

There is still no harm in writing to the ECM - if the case workers, decide not to forward your evidence to the ECM, they will let you know immediately - otherwise, the ECM will respond within 20 working days. The ECM would not need your Travel expense receipts - but you must have a letter from your ...
