Read your extension letter carefully and do what it says. If you are based in London you have to go to Overseas Visitors Record Office. If you are not in London, your local police station will do.

Vignette is the stamp on your passport; at least the embassy people call it like that. Anyway, I don't have the reference number on the stamp/vignette/stick piece of paper issued by the embassy in my passport.

Thanks for the reply Nazam. Meanwhile I got a reply from Home Office to my query; and as far as I can see the reference number is not on vignette.

Filling in FLR(IED) - HSMP reference number

Hi mates, I am filling in FLR(IED) form for HSMP extension and noticed that I have to fill in HSMP reference number; I presume that this number comes in HSMP approval letter. However I was never able to get back my approval letter from British Embassy in Ankara as they were operating in a lowered se...

So you are a citizen of Luxembourg, aren't you? Immigration is not the correct word for you. Just get on the next plane to Dublin with your passport and that's it. Don't forget to contact the local authorities once you are there...

Hi there, I can't see any point in collecting this data. It is useless because: 1)Successful candidates do not really know how many points they get, because Home Office sends a letter that indicates success but no breakdown of points. Break down of points is only provided within a refusal letter. Th...

or alternatively

You might consider joining a flatshare for a while. Of course, this route works better if a person is single. The good side of the flatshare is that you don't have to deal with red-tape stuff like references, bills etc

Merhabalar, No HSMP is not restricted to any profession. However you need to convince the people in HSMP team that you will be able to be economically active(i.e paying tax). The chances for engineers and IT people are higher in current market situation. If you can give a strong evidence for possibi...

Thanks for the good wishes.

As I am from a nationality which is exempted from fees, I do not have the chance to monitor the process through credit card transactions. However I know that DHL has deliverd my envelope.

It is interesting that they do not give a refernce number without asking it.
