Looks like the INIS have are done sending the Invitions for Dec 13 ceremony. Few lucky applicants who applied in March 2012 have got their approvals and Invitations for Dec 13th . And the unlucky applicants like me the one's who have applied in 2009, 2010, 2011 are still waiting and will just keep ...

Kim_202 : I completely agree & understand your frustration, but is there anything we can do ?

I am also in same situation as you , have clear record , pay high taxes (almost 17.5k / annum) . But still waiting ! And people on social welfare, criminal record, sham marriage are getting approvals.

This sick citizenship process is driving me crazy !! My friends from college went to USA, Canada, Australia , UK and Germany around the same time period (2002-2003) as I left from my home country to pursue education and work in western countries ...they all have got their's and their families citize...

I hope all applicants from 2011 get their approvals in this lot for Dec 13, its really getting on the nerves now ...just cant think straight !! I had applied in Oct 2011 and have been waiting desperately for naturalization approval... not for my sake but for my wife who has just been sitting around ...

I talked to someone in Citizenship section yesterday and was told that I will get the decision in 2-3 weeks. So I believe they will send out the invitation letter for Dec in 2-3 weeks. This doesn't mean I will get the positive reply though as I had some court fines which they asked me to submit the...

Alan Shatter in his speech on 15th Oct said he has made decisions on 22,500 applications in this year of 2012 . However in this year so far only 14300 have been granted citizenship. Looks INIS is deliberately delaying the naturalizaion application of high tax payers like Doc, IT people bcos they also know once these guys will get irish passport they will be out of here the next day ... just hope my application is approved this Dec, have a job lined up in London. that would be ...

My guess is they have sent out approval letters without ceremony dates to applicants from 2008, 2009 and may be 2010 as they have been waiting too long ...later this month they will send out approval letter and ceremony invites to applicants from late 2011 and early 2012 for Dec ceremony.

I hope they send approvals to applicants who have applied on work-permit/Green card permit residency basis ......really tired of this waiting and paying taxes all these years and no benefit or status for my wife :(

They will only send out approval after the 15th Oct ceremony ...hopefully in last week of Oct or 1st week of Nov. I hope for the Dec ceremony they have 4000 or more.
