I got my ILR in Jan 04.
I have been made redundant in July 04.
I am aiming to apply for citizenship in Jan 05 and am wondering whether applying for unemployment benefits now could impact on my chances.

I meant my daughter was born 3 months before I got my ILR.

Can you confirm that I can't get any UK travel docs whilst my company is chasing for her to get the UK passport/citizenship

My company immigration dept have already kicked off the citizenship application for her as opposed to getting her a home country passport and ILR endorsement. . Does anyone know if there are constraints when one gets the UK citizenship e.g. does one have to remain in the country for a number of days per year etc.
