we got the same situation! Only I am on Work permit visa! I do teach in UNI..and I had to do the IELTS..again...!

I got almost similar situation. Due to apply at PEO next month. You may add your CRB as ann additional doc , to show you are clean i.e sort of character certificate.

I wrote to these people and they came back yesterday that the Saturday appointments are fine , they are open on Saturdays.
