How sure are you this would work? I mean if theres risk then I can wait for 6 mths more and apply as I should be well within my 450 day limit then.i.e. Unless I dont travel again:-)

In the last 5 years I have been absent for about 460 days , am exceeding the limit by 10 days. Half of the absences have been due to work and I could get co letters to mention that.
I did notice that HO disregard absences of upto 480 days but not sure how this works

how long was your break for ? and what kind of evidence have u supplied to support it? Well atleast they have recognised this a problem and
1. Are allowing people to take up employment while their FLR is getting processed
2. And coming up with another solution solution next yr.
Whether you are transferring work permits or applying for a new one irrespective of the case you have to use the same form to apply.The diff is for people already here on WP's employers dont have to prove that they have advt for the post and couldnt get a resident to fill in the and so on....
