Thanks for your reply. i guess i'll have to cross my fingers till the day comes. i really hope they will give me 3 years. it'll be great as i travelled only after 6 months from the date of visa issue, so i will need another extension to qualify for ILR since i will fall short if i get only 2 years.

Just to update, the UKBA replied that dates are fine and contact the case worker if I dispute. I wrote to the case worker and got a call from him that under new Tier1 guidance everyone will get 3 years extension regardless of when the original Tier1 visa was issued.
