Ask your employer to use employee checking service, whilst your application is in process. The home office will send them notification confirming your in time application which should allow you to carry on working. If the application was made within 28 days before the expiry date, you are covered un...

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

I’m not expert but I think consent 2 means If u have anything like bank statement or council tax as joint account, for example yours and your wife’s name on bank statement then I think your wife will need to sign consent 2. Consent 3 is I think if you have someone supporting u financially, then that...

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

Hello,
Not sure but Is it necessary to write a cover letter to send with the application? Or just simply fill in application form online and submit the documents with it? Please share.
Many thanks

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

Congratulations
Very pleased to read about the positive decisions.
I’ve read some people have applied 28 days before the expiry like 2 months before the visa expires. Do u have to have a valid reason for that or anyone can apply bit earlier than 28 days?
Please share. Thanks

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

I heard from a friend her work colleague recently received 3 year extension after his 5 year leave And he applied in March ... and that they give another 3 year and 2 year extension after 5 year refugee leave to those who have criminal conviction.. so I think they’ve made it like a 10 year route them

Re: British Citizenship – Good Character Requirement FAQs

Hi

Has anyone been granted citizenship after refugee ilr? And was an overstayer before claiming asylum?
I think with good character requirement now they require u to spend 4 more years to make it 10 years without any bad record.

Any one related to this? Id appreciate the advice.
