Do I need to reply to 1.17 then (your addresses for the past 5 years)? I can fill in a From date, but there is no To date as I am still living in...

Specific immigration circumstances

Hi all, I have applied to ILR in 2012 by post, but my silly bank closed my card and HO rejected application as not been paid. It took HO about a month to return my documents and I have become an over stayer. Totally bad luck and not my fault. I applied to ILR via premium service later, explained the...

Re: Lack of information & transparancy on ILR

If you fail to get an appointment, just send a postal application.

As long as you make your application before your current visa expired there is nothing to worry about. You can even apply on the last day your visa valid until.

If they cancel your appointment again (unlikely!) you will still have few days to send your application by post.

Other solution I heard from a lawyer is to send them fresh application and cover letter explaining the situation and stating that all the documents are with the HO already. Didn't try myself, though

This means your docs arrived to the HO only 6 days ago. Be patient.
Watch your account. If money's gone within few days there must be no problems at all.

ILR in Glasgow, an overstayer experience

Hi all, Want to share with you my experience in getting ILR. The case is not trivial, therefore, may be of interest. "There's no such rules I've heard any where that you need to apply for a Police registration certificate." Yes, there is. Not for all countries though. It is clearly indicated in a vignettes of those who need to get it. http://www.met.police.uk/overseas_visitors_records_office/registration...
