Hi Guys,

Wondering if someone can shed light on this query.

I will be eiligible for British Citizenship next year. My wife just got FLR (M) approved on Old rules. Can my wife apply for Direct British citizenship using AN form without applying for Set (M)?

Hi All,

Yet another update. Just received BRP for My wife's FLR (M) and visa valid is for 2 years, so HO is treating pre july and pre 6th april under old rules. Time to partyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. yay...........

Hello Guys, Quick update. I got my wife FLR (M) approved. Just got all the documents today. Applied on 5th April 2014. I was in the process of sending the follow up cover letter requesting HO to start processing my wife's application today. We haven't got the BRP yet so don't know whether they issue...

Yes if u will apply after 6 April then you have to show income plus wait for 5 years to get ILR or she can apply in 2017 on 10 year basis .
