I feel so out of place now that everyone is updating their timeline, and everyone seems to have applied way later than me and getting their visas/passports back Don't give up hope, you're almost there..... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JuDsxG6l10M/T0SmaHLbE3I/AAAAAAAAApw/gdZuiv0r7Cs/s400/400529_3598725...

I feel so out of place now that everyone is updating their timeline, and everyone seems to have applied way later than me and getting their visas/passports back. I applied back on the 13th July 2012, and I am still waiting. UKBA requested further documents 2 weeks ago, sent them last week, they rece...

I am a July applicant, similar to luckyjinx's timeline, and yet to receive my documents and visa returned to me. My question on here today is whether I can actually request my passport back for CRB check purposes. I've been meaning to do this since last year, but held it back because I think somewhe...

Re: FLR(M) docs delivered!

I finally got back all my documents and the letter stating that my visa is approved and that I need to wait for my BRP card in 7 days! My husband and I are really happy! Finally, the waiting is over! Thank you all for the support! By the way, I don't know why I can't update my timeline in Skydrive....

Re: PAINFULLY WAITING

Anybody else still waiting from early July?! We've requested my husband's birth cert and uni cert before and it took them just over a week to send them over so that was good. However, 3 weeks ago we requested our marriage cert back (only because we need it for the church) and we still have not hear...

Been awhile!

So it's been quite a while since I've posted on here, work's been keeping me busy but my visa and passport are always on my mind! It's not fair how agonizing this is. Anyway here's my timeline, and a bit of background - I switched from PSW visa to FLR(M), got married in July 2012, applied a few days...

I have to say that was extremely frustrating and disappointing for me because that was my first time trying to ring UKBA, and because I never get the chance to. I'm always at work mon-fri and they're only open then, just so happens I am off today to run some errands (INCLUDING THIS) and all I got wa...

OMG okay I am so freaking pissed off right now. I tried ringing UKBA to find out what happened to my biometrics letter because its been 2 months since I received the acknowledgement letter! From what I've gathered it takes only a few days to a month to receive a biometrics letter and I'm not even re...

Ops, sorry. I meant £18600. And I saw this again from their website so it's okay. You can meet the financial requirement through: the income from employment or self employment of your sponsor; the income from your employment or self employment if you are in the UK; SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO...

So... wait, just to clarify something. I know under the new rules we have to meet a minimum income of £18000 before tax, but does that only apply to the sponsor? Can't it be a combination of the sponsor + applicant or even just the applicant alone? I've applied since 13th July and NO biometrics lett...

Thank you! Something off my chest. Now the waiting game continues. It's been 6 weeks and still no biometrics letter! I will update my timeline here as soon as I get it (IF I EVER DO?!). GOOD LUCK GUYS! BE STRONG! THE PAIN THEY'RE CAUSING US IS NOT WORTH IT. Yes you are eligible to work, you will hav...

Hey guys, Just an enquiry, if you're switching from a PSW visa to a FLR(M) visa, and while applying for the FLR(M) visa you're already working legally in the UK under the PSW visa.. will you still be allowed to work while waiting for the new FLR(M) visa to be processed even though your PSW visa has ...

You guys are right. I need to damn well calm down. It's just so frustrating I've never gone through this long wait before. The fact that I'm writing this during work proves how anxious and worried I am, lol. But thanks a lot for the comfort guys, I really appreciate every response I get here. It's h...

Thanks bobobo. Was the application made by post? Do you remember how long it took for them to take your/her money? Ha, you're right about the UKBA. This is ridiculous, since Feb! Hopefully everything goes well. This is SUCH A PAIN. Hate it. This is probably the first and only time I'm desperate for ...

Oh thank you so much for your swift reply anil! It's a relief to know that. Thanks so much :). Also I'm wondering if it's because of the olympics period that the UKBA is busier and clearing up alot of visas... plus apparently they are going on strike this week! Bummer :(. Thanks again. I'll update h...

FLR(M) visa application with no response yet

Dear all, I recently found this discussion board and decided to join in because I am worried about my recent flr(m) visa application. I sent it in on the 13/7 and they received it on the 16/7. However, until this date (24/7) no acknowledgement whatsoever has been sent to me, neither has ANY payment ...
