@nanipals In-spite of all this mess, you've returned your application within your visa expiry date (28/04/2005) so you should be fine with the gaps. There is no specific answer on how long it would take for a senior case worker to deal with your application (I wish there was one). So fingers crossed...

SET(F) is the relevant form (Child under the age of 18 of a parent, parents or a relative present and settled in the UK) to use.

Thanks for your reply. So regarding the 2nd question, I don't have to apply for my son's extension as a dependent, he will be a British Citizen? Best option is to postpone your appointment to later date. You can utmost postpone it to 90 days.

Mean while keep an eye for Visa on arrival for britons.

Provided you landed in the UK within 90 days of your EC, you'd qualify to apply for ILR 28 days before the 01/02/2015.

Okay as long as your over all days out of the UK are less than 540 and you've never been out of the UK for more than 180 days in one go, you should be fine.
