Guys you were right. I just called UKBA and told them that I have not received the ceremony invitation letter, they straight away ordered a new invitation letter to be sent out today.

So now i am waiting for more 15 days to see the outcome....

Ya I called my local council and they also refused. The problem is that email address they have mentioned on the Approval letter is simply replying a general message.

Don't know what to do. Any contact no please ?

Hi, my 2 weeks are gone but haven't received any ceremony invitation letter, Can I arrange my ceremony without this or I have to wait for the letter.

Hi, I have a question about British Passport application Section 4.

My parents born in India before 1982. Do I need to give my Parents and grand parents details as well.

Thanks friends, some advice based on my experience. If you cross 6 months, do not hesitate to contact your local MP and get him involved. I did that and my MP was very active and sent the inquiry to Home office almost the next day. Call Home Office after every week, but do not hammer them otherwise ...

Ok, finally after a long, hard and full of depression wait of 7 months I got my approval letter.

They have mentioned that in 2 weeks I will get the BC ceremony letter.

Thanks to all who posted their feed back. Who supported me during this period.

You have weighted the required 6 months and they are asking you to wait another 2months (?) . Hi I called UKBA to get my BC Application update as I completed 6 months.

Now guess what ?

They said my application is under process and no idea how long it will take. She asked me to call them back after 8 weeks.

What the h*** is happening .....
