Yeah probably it is not true. But I have seen and heard first hand experiences where a foreign national's skills are an exact match to the company's requirement but still they prefer searching for some one in UK or with a WP already rather than sponsoring a WP for the new candidate. In fact the sear...

How true ?

My friends and colleagues tell me that it is virtually impossible to get WP nowadays compared to how it was couple of years back. What I fail to understand is that, whether this "impossibility" is because WPUK is not favoring more foreign nationals to come and work here so as to allow resi...

Another version

What if a person gets an EC and then within 3 months goes back to his

What is the status of his/her spouse now ?

Hi Time, Yeah if I withdraw one then that should be fine. But let us say I fax my offer to HO to speed up the process and also the company files for a work permit and none of them is withdrawn. In such a case which application will take precedence ? Or is it that ...which ever gets processed first w...

I am planning to apply as an Out of country candidate for HSMP. But what if the company in UK, I might get an offer from decides to apply for a work per...

Apologies for waking up late  I was going thru the post and have a query about the salary. For under 28 if the equivalent salary is £5000 in India(where i am from) then you get 25 points. 1. Is this gross salary that is talked about ? 2. What if the gross is £5000+ but in hand salary is £4000 ...

Please clarify ........ Does HSMP approval also include a stamp on your passport ? I mean if let us say a person has appli...

How much "well" should be "well organized&quo

Hello friends, I have been asking lot on this forum recently. Pardon me for keeping you all busy :-). Thanks to all you out there. I noted in various posts that there are mentions about "good documentation" and "organized documentation" which could speed up the processing as they...

Thanks Zahid.
I found the post and it says that if there is a pending offer the process
might be quick.

Anyone actually experienced this priority processin first hand.I mean
what does quick mean ? Instead of 8 weeks how much would it take ?

If you have an offer?

Friends, Does it make any difference if you have an offer in hand from a company in UK ? I mean difference to the processing time.It looks like that nowadays the processing time is around 2 months at least. Is there any other advantage apart from the processin time if you have an offer in hand ? Ple...

I also believe that practically there is nothing illegal in that. Anyway for an EC I have to get it from my country anyway right? And otherwise also I am planning to go back in a few weeks so my approval might be received only when I am back in my country. Thanks a lot for all the inputs. Cheers, Anup

hmmmm......makes sense.....
So chess.......in that case the care that should be taken is that in the
hsmp form you should not be mentioning that I am in UK.
Right ?

Yeah I think you are right HSMP. Why take risk.

So you suggest that I go back to India and then apply from there itself
right?
So I have to wait again for few weeks before applying :-(

Thanks HSMP.

Ok :-(

But can't you apply as an out of country candidate still. I mean I still
apply as if I am applying from India.
Is that advisable ?

Thanks in advance all of you.

Hi HSMP,

Thank you HSMP.
Are you really sure about this ?
If yes then I won't spend time and money in getting the relevant
documents from my country to here in UK.

Thanks again,
