British Passport application & sending current NZ passpo

I am in the process of applying for my first British Passport and am aware that as part of my application, I am required to include my current New Zealand passport. I am not keen to be without my NZ passport for any length of time. When I applied for Citizenship, I took my original documents in for ...

I booked an appointment at 9:10am in the morning for 6 weeks in advance. There were about 5 slots available at Croydon, the office I wanted.

If you applied in person at one of the PEO offices you should receive it between 7-10 days.

I received a calling card from DX courier yesterday. Would that be in connection with my BRP card or do they come via registed post?

Thanks

Assume passport has new page with visa? (in addition to getting BRP cards later)

No, I had an in person appointment. But due to technical issues, no one looked at my application when I was there. Someone called me on the next business day.

Perhaps it would be advisable to include your expense claims and/or bank statements showing re-embursements from client. I don't have any first hand experience with this aspect, but I would think better to provide too many docs to cover yourself than not enough. I would think the Home Office will be...

To clarify, are you saying your client re-embursed you for the full cost of the flights after you submitted an expenses claim?

Who paid for your flights relating to the business trips? I would think it would help validate the purpose of those trips if you could show the US company paid for them.

I wouldn't have thought Home Office would be looking into NI payments... I would think that's similar to someone being worred about being behind in in paying their taxes. I doubt Home Office dig into those details that much.

I agree with Contactrizwan79. My ILTR was approved yesterday, but not before I was phoned up by the case worker twice who was asking very basic questions. I had included dividend vouchers which were stapled to the back of my accountant's payslips. I don't think she had even seen them (how can you mi...

So you continued to draw a salary whilst between contracts? Ok. The Home Office will calculate your income based on gross salary plus dividends, so if you can start drawing dividends it would be in your interests to do so. From an income evidence perspective, you want to try and link in your persona...

I'm a bit confused as to why you are not already utilising your limited company and deriving your income from both gross salary and dividends? If your income is solely derived from salary, surely you are paying a higher rate of tax which defeats the purpose of having a limited company in the first p...

The Home Office is completely seperate to HMRC. You have a choice of which income documents to provide - providing P60's is optional. No need for concern.

If you had someone assess your supporting docs and tell you all was fine subject to biometric results, at least you have peace of mind you've been successful (assuming no criminal record, I think that's linked to the biometric test) - no one was prepared to look at my docs on friday, so I got angry,...

When I left the Croydon office on Friday, they told me I would receive a call the following week. I checked the website, for Premium Applications it says 90% of cases are approved on the same day. They don't call it a Same Day Application, for good reason - it they did, I'd imagine they could be lia...
