Re: History Of Absence

how many absences do you have in that particular year? Will these 4 days take your absences over the limit? It would be best if these were mentioned however since the application has already been lodged, I would just let it go ..... purely based on the fact that I have not heard UKVI going into scru...

Re: Child MN1 underway and apply for passport?

Haqhash,

Did you got the Naturalisation certificate of your child?

Yes, you will have to complete the Grand parents details.
If your parents (Child's grand parents) have a passport, use the details from there. If you don't have exact dates, you may use estimated dates.

Thanks

Re: Rise in Xenophobia and hate since Brexit

There is nothing wrong in having a strong opinion on any particular issue. What is needed is maturity and tolerance to value the difference of opinion. I am glad that I have the opportunity of listening to different opinions and view points and thankful to everyone who raises them. It gives me an op...

Re: Refusal tax deception

Scrutiny for tax records would be same either you apply via Tier 1 route or you apply via 10 years LR route.

Way forward would be to rectify the taxes and go for a JR ...... that seems like the only option.

Best of Luck.

Re: MN1 Application No Update

Haqhash, We are in a similar position. We had applied for Joint Naturalisation (under MN1) and passport via Maidenhead Council. Payment for Naturalisation was taken on 9th April, Biometrics provided on 18 April. Payment for Passport debited on 18 April 2016. After that I haven't heard anything. I do...

Re: ILR Refused Set(O) Window Service

It would help if we can know if your friend's source of earnings i.e. was it only self employed, or Self employed + Salaried. Especially what was his income declared to UKVI for 2010, 2012 and 2013 ............. also what was the status for 2011? This would help in better understanding the situation...

Abc499 had nailed it in the head and Wanderer have a very valid point ......

You may say that you haven't received invoices at the time ..... but then still you must have received good or services and you would have known the approximate price? ..... or was that not the case

Re: PBS ILR refused postal application and interview

Cruis, My suggestion would be that you create a separate thread for your question rather than asking question in someone else's thread. In this way you will get more and better responses. Answer to your question, In my opinion, Yes matters at your initial application may impact at ILR. reading the p...

Somehow I want to Assume that it wont make any difference ........... but to be absolutely safe, the best option will be to get the Pay slip amended to show net pay of £556.06 ........... simpler the better.

I believe Caroline is asking about 'Right to Work' while ILR application is under consideration. Caroline, Is this a new employer or your existing employer? I am assuming it is your existing employer. If that's the case, then they should already have copies of your Tier 1 Visa and as far as you can ...

Re: ILR application in 2 Days NEED HELP URGENT!!!

Yes 'Gross Income Before Tax' means £13,500. It doesn't says 'Revenue' or Gross Sales or Gross income before expenses. Now this £750 was your normal business operating expenses and not 'Tax' So your Income statement will be something like this Gross Income - £14,150 Less:Expenses - £(750) Gross Prof...

Re: ILR application in 2 Days NEED HELP URGENT!!!

Well here is how is read your situation: So your actual income at Initial Tier 1 were £34,820 - This is the amount you declared your income to HMRC and paid tax on it. Which seems correct if you are saying that £750 was claimed as business expenses. Income declared to UKBA (Now UKVI) was £35,570 - T...

Ranarehan,

I think a letter from main tenant would help. However I would rather you make a sublet agreement (a simple one) and include names of both you and your partner on it. That would be a more conclusive evidence.
Hope this helps.

Re: URGENT-Suspicious phone call from Croydon PEO

Just caller ID being blocked shouldn't make it suspicious. I think they have good reasons to keep caller ID blocked, else they will get million calls on that number everyday. Consider the following: 1. Did the caller asked you for any personal details? 2. Did the caller asked you for any money? 3. W...

Yes, You will have to submit either a NARIC Certificate or a SELT test certificate.

Dis-regard what you submitted at your last Visa renewal, there are new rules for English now.

Re: FPN and PCNs

Ranarehan

I flew from Shannon to Heathrow and did not go through immigration. This is because Ireland is in common travel area. I stayed for 9 days in Ireland and declared that in my list of travels in ILR application (section 6). I didn't had any issues at ILR.

Hope this helps

David, I believe that the root cause of the problem is the Solicitor who gave you an absolutely incorrect Advise. Being a solicitor, he should have known better. I would agree with CASA's advise. If I were you, I would pay the IHS Surcharge and then try my luck after getting SELT (from approved Coll...

Re: Payslip/BankStatement on FTE mismatch to HMRC records -

Virat,

P45 is a good piece of evidence. I believe HMRC will only update their records re payment of taxes once they have received the payment.

May be someone with similar experience can add more for you.
Thanks
