Re: UK passport application

No You can't now you are not indian and you are british so be carefull you should not travel.Try to re arrange your interview and explain them the situation. That advice I'm afraid is nonsense. There is no problem travelling on the Indian passport. We should learn to be polite even when we disgree ...

It takes about 6 weeks for Naturalisation process, then a month or more to attend the ceremony, unless you do a private ceremony (fee paid)which could be as fast as a week, then 6 weeks for Passport application.

You will not meet the residential requirement if you apply for citizenship in 2010. The residential requirement for spouses of British Citizens is 3yrs, for non British citizens is 5yrs (As the law stands now) With the new Citzenship law its a different ball game.

You or your dependants do not require to fulfill thr life in the UK test if you came before Nov 2006. But you willl need for citizenship anyway. In its present state, it is easy to pass if you do some reading. Nobody knows the form it will take if HO decides to change the exam format before your cit...

The only information that is shared Globally is terrorist information, so i dont think Poland or UK will have anyway of knowing unless a crime has been committed. Secondly, yes if you apply for a UK visa your finger prints ...

Am not sure if they would accept that referee. If he/she was a doctor, i think the age wouldnt have mattered. The guidelines gives a list of Professions that can be used as referee.

Blue, A private ceremony is one in which you apply to attend alone, it is done for a fee. Rather than wait for the scheduled time, which could take as long as two months from date of approval, you could pay a fee to have a ceremony the next day after approval if you want. My council charges £150 fo...

Our letters says we were free from immigration restrictions from July 16th 2008. So two more week...
