Hi, thanks and good luck to you. My husband has applied from Georgia. I dont know how it works with other countries but in our case it was the worst 11 months in our life.

ok, they require original birth certificate and original marriage certificate(if applicable) I am confused, what do they mean by "original birth certificate" -is that the one, in my mother language? or does it have to be translated into English? because I sent them the translated version, ...

well, my frined is from georgia and yes- he applied for a short stay visa 2 months ago and he got it yesterday. so as i guess, it means that he has to ask for his passport back and get his ticket as soon as he can because he has just 90 days and that visiting time has already started when visa issue...

no, these numbers are of the department of justice and equality. you need a immigration lawyer, you can google and find out numbers and addresses of your local solicitors. however i know some imm. lawyer in Limerick,if you need the phone number i can give you. good luck :)
