Re: PLAB visa and tier 2 issue

it is normal for ukba not to send back docs after failing to appear at hearing. I think if u have the paperwork and withdraw ur application, u can go back home and apply for new visa with the cos u have. contact gmc, and maybe give them a visit to show all other docs (including good standing, degree...

Re: Tier 2 restricted cos , please help

first thing is it wont create a problem that u are already working for them. secondly, the start date on cos is not the start date of ur job, but the start of the date from which they want to sponsor u. also, u do not necessarily have to disclose that you are working for them. If RLMT is correctly d...

Re: Geting offered a job 3 weeks before my PSW visa expires?

you dont need to have worked for them for 6 months.. rather, u dont even need to work for them before u apply for visa.
all u need is a COS, and apply before your current leave expires. u will need un restricted cos and will be exempt from RLMT.

Re: Applying for unrestricted COS

i think they are best doing it now, and they should mention clearly that they are asking for quota for April 14/march 15 and not for current year which ends in start of april. also, since you are the only employee, i will suggest that u keep track of when does the company needs to apply for renewing...

Re: Tier 2 Extension help required

they screwed you at each instance. Firstly, they should be put the end date on the COS to the date they wanted to sponsor you and start date as the date they were to start sponsoring you. The dates on the COS are relating to when and how long they want to sponsor you. The dates of your end of PSW wa...

Re: New non-EU limits

you can apply whenever u want.
Only thing to remmeber is u apply within 3 months of the issue of the COS. If your company is willing to give u a new cos today, for a time that will lead u till after 5 years u have been here, u can apply now as well.

Re: HMRC - Change of Address

its not an issue.. just give them a call, and change your address. You can also do this online. Then give them a call about the tax refund. HMRC normally sends tax refunds around sept time for previous year. If they have already done that and sent it to your previous address, u can always ask them t...

Re: Use CoS second time for same employer (already have tier

If your employer informed ukba about termination of your contract, then unfortunately your visa may have been cancelled. The only way to find out online is by the employer's SMS online. Contact your sponsor to find out the current state of your visa. Tier 2 current rules state that if you leave the...

Re: A year into Tier 2 few questions

you do not need to be earning 35k for he extension.
you have to earn at least 20800 or what ur SOC code says, whichever is higher.

35k requirement is for the ILR at the end of your 5 years, provided your occupation is not on the shortage occupation list.

Re: Time before applying to Switching to Tier 2 from T1 PSW

If you have already been issued a COS, u have 3 months from the date of issue of the COS to apply for visa. If u dont, the COS will expire.
If you already have a COS, u can not wait till the closer time of ur current visa expiry date as that will expire ur COS.

That's right. Because i have never thought that they would be disclosing the outcome of the application on email before the docs have arrived.
The reason of the email was if they have since changed this?
thanks.
