i am not an expert on this, but why not go back and apply a fiance visa and come back. U will have the rights to work and would not need sponsor to start a job.. as soon as u start, if they think u are good enough, u can change to T2, but that will have to be applied from home country. Maybe this he...

Basically its a hen and eggs issue. Even if your job was not to finish in Dec, one shouldnt resign till the time they get the new visa as it can be rejected on any grounds, and once you have the visa, legally u cant work with ur old employer to serve the notice. but in ur case, i will suggest that u...

There is no such thing as cooling off period for Tier 2 G, for now. THis will only start roughly about 4 years later, when the people who were first granted tier 2 G, after april 2012 will have spend 6 years of time on thier tier 2 G in the UK and will be required to go back or a year. you are ok to...

All other occupations application will be rejected. once u have found a nvq 6 job, then u need to find the most closest job description. having said all that, assigning a code is the...

I have a couple of friends who have had this issue and thier dependents arrived more than 11 months later after getting the visa..
I am guessing its not going to be problem as she can always mention of some medical treatment or close relative who required care due to critical illness.

Will my Partner be eligible for ILR

Hiya, A quick drawdown of my circumstances. I have been on Tier-2 and will complete 5 years next year. My wife joined me on Tier-2 dependent at the start of this year. I understand once i get my ILR, she will get FLR and can apply for ILR when she has completed 5 years here with me. However, she now...

good news: since ukba has asked for docs, it means that the case is under process and not in the pile.. so the outcome can be expected soon. (i also recomend that the company sends as email to case worker to expedite the process since they have to employ a person whose visa is expiring. they should ...

since he is going to be issued with a restricted COS, he will have to undergo RLMT. It does not matter if he has been previously employed by the company or not, regarding the salary of 35k, only way he is exempt from RLMT is if he has salary of over 152k a year. also please note besides undertaking ...

well u have to ask ur employer if they have informed UKBA or not.. otherwise, i dont think there is any way to find out if ur visa is valid or not.
Also, even if they have not informed UKBA, it will be illegal for u to enter again, if u know u dont have a job to go back to.

reply with saying that ur visa is expiring soon and that is why they want to request the process should be dealt urently. if ur visa is less than 14 days left, then they should attach a copy of ur visa, as they wont expedite the case until ur visa is less than 14 days left on it . however, they shou...

this is a tricky situtation and basically is a grey area as well. basically, its a risk to resign, even after u have got the COS since there can be a prob in visa issuance coz of several reasons, incl salary, SOC code and job responsibilities. once u get the visa, u cant work for ur old company as u...
