My settlement BRP is valid until 2022.
Does this mean I have to apply for BRP again after 10 years?
Or do I need to just get a new BRP card with a new picture?

I thought the "Indefinite Leave to Remain" is valid for ever?

It is such pain...waiting...Its been 4 months now.

I think approval letter comes in normal 2nd class royal mail post.
BRP and, passport & other documents comes seperately.

Check with the delivery company if they have submitted the passport. It should be a recorded delivery so your passport shouldn't get lost. My daughter applied for ILR in March 2011.
