The test is valid as long as you still have the results certificate to present with your application. I would recommend taking it as soon as possible so you have one less thing to worry about

So I have been doing some more reading on this. All of the evidence available shows that we will still be considered under the old rules, as confirmed by Lucapooka. So we should have 2 years under FLR(M) and then can apply for ILR as long as my wife has passed the Life in the UK Test and obtained a ...

I have just been through this with my Fiancée who is currently here on a Fiancée Visa. She was able to open a savings account with Lloyds TSB using only her Passport. I have been an account holder with them for about 10 years and they were happy for me to complete a form confirming her address Sean :)
