Initially Payment Refused Applicants

My question is to those applicants whose payment had problems initially but then later got sorted out.

Could you all please state reason why there was problem with initial payment? This will help people like me to take extra care while submitting application to avoid any possible delays.

English language requirement from 28 Oct 2013

I'm sure, there will be many people like my case: HSMP+T1G+ILR based on University Degree thought in English & proved that for all earlier HSMP/T1G applications. Will be applying for Naturalisation after 28th Oct 2013. Since HomeOffice has released a "Statement of Intent" which doesn't...

Re: Jobless period for ILR route

Hi All Readers/Moderators, I am planning to apply for my ILR in the first week of December 2012 following the (4yr 11m) WP + Tier 1 route. I have a question regarding my work status in the UK. There is a home office requirement for the PBS route that they need to provide the evidence for the past 1...

Re: Random question regarding bank statements and verificati

I have recently applied for the ILR SET (O) as a Tier 1 General migrant - the fees have been taken and I have received the acknowledgement, so now I'm just waiting and by the sounds of things for another 4 months at the very least. I had sent copies of my savings account statements as proof of main...

Re: Query realted to 5 years of employment

Many thanks for your reply. It is reassuring to know that 5 years residence is required and not 5 years employment. I have read posts in which applicants were asking how to complete previous employment documents to prove their continuous employment. Hence I started to have doubts. Hope that is not ...

Re: Query realted to 5 years of employment

Concerned as could less than 5 years of employment go against me when I apply for my ILR in June 2014? ILR does not need you to be in continuous employment for all 5 yrs for Tier 1 G category... If you can show you can accumulate enough points in last 12 out of 15 continuous month, then you should ...

Re: Withdraw postal application and re-apply as PEO

I hope you meant to state the date of expiry of most recent leave (19-Sep), rather than the date of ILR application (24-Aug)! yeah.. sorry, I actually meant 19th Sep when visa expires.. That said, section 3C leave will end on the date the applicant withdraws a pending application, and therefore the...

Re: Withdraw postal application and re-apply as PEO

As mentioned above, if you withdraw your application, your leave will be considered as expired on 24th Aug itself making you an over stayer... Then home office has strong case of rejecting ILR based your over staying according to rules in place on 1st Oct... so any further PEO application will be in...

The single person discount for Council Tax isn't a Public Fund. Claiming as a single person however, when there are other occupants could well affect an ILR application. If you're entitled to claim the discount then this will have no adverse affect on your ILR application as this would be a fraudul...

I read posts that Council Tax Single person discount is not counted towards public fund benefits, but still I want to know if anyone who really has claimed single person discount ever in his tenure was able to get ILR?
