Re: Dependent Spouse

I agree, and hence there must be some provision in my opinion for cases like me. because this is real life scenario. Mind well, in my opinion, since I'm not claiming any income from self-employment, I don't need to provide income related docs, only those which states I'm employed with possible earni...

Re: Dependent Spouse

Obie, MPH80, Thanks a lot for your valuable insight. I'll certainly use my wife's income. That's definitely back up plan. But, just for knowledge sake & better understanding, If my wife wasn't working/wasn't earning enough, what position I would be in? Solutions you suggested above would be like...

Re: Dependent Spouse

Another thing I just noticed that, I can probably use Category B as I'm not intending to use any income from my recently formed company. It's just to show home office that I'm still working (although started just from 1st Oct 2014) now for my new company. But income would be shown what I have earned...

Re: Dependent Spouse

Hmm.. I thought so too.. I couldn't get any matching answer relating to my case. If I have to use self employment, I'll have to wait for at least an year full. I can not use umbrella company just for this application purpose as my company has all contract & other things signed up. That will only...

Dear Friends, I was going through rules for FLR-M for my wife, she's currently on T1-G but now wanting to shift to spouse of BC. (Please don't question as why she doesn't want to continue for ILR etc.. ). Situation is like this, We'll be applying for her FLR-M in Oct-14, but I'll have finished with ...

It happened with me too.. have read through In my opinion, If you can make sure that you filled form correctly without any rubbing/mistakes, it will be best to send it yourself by next day secured service, PO C&S is just waste of money if you are bit careful.. ask questions on this forum/topic i...

British Passport: Check & Send Service

Having seen lot of posts about post office check & send service in Passport timelines, here what I have to say,

If you are not happy about service you can formally complaint about it to Post Office Ltd customer care.

You can also let passport office know about your complaint.

Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

It's really sad to hear post office refused to give that information. Only to offer you some solace... Check & Send service is tracked internally by every post office that offers it. When they have documents like your passport/naturalisation certificate, they can't afford to be careless. It's yo...

HI changamire , Where is that interview office that you could get an appointment so close on March 1st? When we called on 28th, we were told the earliest time for London is 12th March. Are you in other city? If you are ready to travel anywhere in the country, your options would increase. If you hav...

Re: help! online passport application form

There is provision if you are outside UK about getting some one counter sign your application.

Check this one https://www.gov.uk/countersigning-passport-applications

If you still have questions, best place to get info is Adviceline.

Re: help! online passport application form

When you fill online information, they'll post you form with all your filled information, you take that form to countersignatory along with one photo at the back of which countersignatory needs to write/sign.

Process is very slow.. I'd suggest, go to post office & get the form from there.
