Thanks for the advice. Silly me, I was overwhelmed that I didn't think about making copies for future reference.

I need more advice guys. I am a bit nervous right now, as I dont want to make another mistake. I am thinking of filling a new declaration form or should I change the date on the current form section 7? What do they meant by re-sign?

Re: Qualifying period for Naturalization application

That is how I would interpret it too. I hope so too. The letter goes further to state that if I wish to re-sign and re-date the enclosed application form at section 7, they will be able to continue their reconsideration. This appears to be another proof that they are likely to continue from where t...

Re: Qualifying period for Naturalization application

If you read the guidance (posted above) you will see how your application is now likely to be treated. Section 3.6 states the following "However, if re-declaration is only offered when the application has reached its turn for consideration, work should continue on the re-declared application&q...

Re: Qualifying period for Naturalization application

Sounds like you've been given a lifeline. By re-signing and re-dating, they will see the date of the application as when they receive the new declaration. It's not the first time we've heard of this happening. Thanks for your contribution. So, does this means that I would have to wait for months be...

They have asked me to re-sign and re-date. How will this affect my application? Would that push my application to the back of the queue including doing another Biometric errollment?

In fact, I have requested for call a back from more expensive staff. This wrong perception needs to be sorted out. The man I spoke to two days ago said my wife can only apply if I have ILR. Re: Does having Permanent Residence gives you a settled stat

I have already sent her a letter explaining my right under EU law. There are two things I'm looking at. (1) She may have mistaken my PR card application for ILR application. (2) Or believe that my wife cannot make FLR (m) application under the UK immigration law if I obtained my settlement under EU ...

That will be utterly crazy, as a person will be compelled to apply when they have valid leave.

This just put me at ease. Thanks to you all. My worries are gone. I'll update you guys about her reply.

Re: Does having Permanent Residence gives you a settled stat

There you go. I'm wrong then. My interpretation was that she cannot apply for a spouse visa unless she has more than 6 months left on her visa.
