ICT Short Term alone is getting closed in April 2017. I think the the Long Term could hence be called as just ICT since the Short Term will cease to exist.

But, there is another option you can try. Stay in ICT and get your visa extended for 2 more years until 2021. You will be eligible for ILR in the 10 year route.

Hi Shiney You can extend indefinitely within UK with the same sponsor as your initial leave was before April 2011. All Tier 2 Established Staff visas would've extended to Tier 2 ICT Long Term visa as the former ceased to exist. What your lawyers are quoting is not true(better get hold of someone com...

Unlike how the principal migrant belongs to various sub-categories (ICT-ST, ICT-LT, Graduate Trainee, Skills transfer, shortage, General, etc.) within a category (Tier 2), a dependant belongs to just one category "PBS dependant". So, Tier 2 (ICT) dependant is no different from Tier 2 (Gen...

Keep your fingers crossed. I think there is no point in seeking advice before the govt comes out with the list of changes and as to when they would be implemented.

Re: ILR pending in Aug-2015 but employer sending me back

Hi iworker imho, timeframe of entry into the UK does not have a bearing as long as someone received a grant before April 6, 2010. The time when the application was made is what matters. To qualify, you must have had at least one of these visas in the 5 years: -Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) issued ...

Hi

If you entered UK by March 2011 you would've had a Tier 2 ICT visa which does not come under a 5 year cap.
Pls check your visa type
