Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, To Set (M) colleagues here, has there been any progress for the Aug and Sep applications? Nothing for me either. Applied August 26th, no contact from UKVI, no delay emails like others have reported. Someone did get a result for their application late September, but apparently this is acceptable...

Re: Is my wife's ILR approved!?

Application submission date is the day you submit the application and pay the ILR fees. Your application date was therefore 31 Dec and not 28 Jan. Still an excellent turn-around time. If you had submitted 5 mins late, you may have become the first applicant to receive ILR having applied in 2021

Yes, you need to satisfy the English language requirement either by:
1. Passing a B1 level English test per EL 6.1 of below
2. Apply for Naric assessment (EL 5.4)

Re: Tier 2 And FLR

You appear to be confusing different types of visas. FLR is Further Leave to Remain which a person can apply if they have a settled spouse/british spouse/british child etc... There is nothing called a "FLR Tier 2 General" visa. In addition, Skilled Worker visa has replace Tier 2 General vi...

Can I suggest you write to your local MP and try escalating your case based on compassionate reasons. This week I too received an offer where the employer wanted me onboarded early March. Yesterday morning I was drafting a letter to my local MP when the magical email from HO arrived  In this ...

Re: When to Apply for Long Residence ILR

If you all are within the absence requirements, then you may all apply under SET(LR). Remember for SET(LR), each person applies individually. There is no dependent concept in the application. How when OP’s dependent’s current visa expires before they qualify for LR? Oops... Yes, the dependents fall...

As far as I am aware, you may apply for a CoS/Visa for extension anytime.
Skilled Worker visa has replaced Tier 2 General visa.

Re: Skilled worked dependent work right

Your current visa restrictions apply until a decision is made on your application. You may only work for your sponsor. Unfortunately you cannot begin work with a new employer until a decision is made on your application. Hope you are aware that your ILR clock on a 5 year route resets to 0 with this ...

You should be able to travel back to the UK without issues. However, you need to check with your HR as they would've raised a Defined COS. You will need an 'undefined COS' if applying within the UK Read the section "Defined and undefined CoS" under: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk...
