URGENT Biometric enrollment

Hi,

I applied for my wife's tier1 G dependant visa by post. Got biometric enrollment request. But it is mentioned that an id card to be carried to the post office for verification. The only id card my wife has is her passport and BRP card, which is now with home office.
So how do I go about his ?

This what it is mentioned on the ukba website. From the last line I guess you will have to use paper form. I might be wrong. Dependants applying in the UK on their own Your dependants can apply to extend or switch their visas to stay with you if they’re already in the UK. Dependants can: apply onlin...

I didn't pay the tax for the earning I declared for 2012 to 2013. Following the advise of the solicitors I have now amended the tax return online - the next day and paid part of the tax and arranged direct debit for the next 12 months. Many thanks Rajeev May I ask why you did not pay the tax for 12...

ILR eligibility

pardon me for this silly question..

I got my visa in July 2010, but entered UK in May 2011.

Would my ILR clock start from May 2011 or can I consider start date to be May - 179 days i.e. from around Dec 2010 ??

You should use your age at the date of your application for your first permission to stay as a Tier 1 (General) migrant.

I have PEO this saturday. The fees £2007 has already credited to my debit card, while booking the appointment.
Do I still need to fill in my card number, expiry, CVV etc in the form ? A6 to A18 on page 5 ?

From my understanding, I think your wife can apply for extension in india, after you have got your extension.
The fees is also less if your wife applies for extension outside UK.

Re: Tier 1 2nd extension period?

Q1. You will, in any case have to go for second extension before april 2015. You should get extension for 3 years this time. In case for some reason you are given 2 years extension, then obviously you will not be eligible for ILR.

Q2. NO.

Re: Tier 1 ext - out of country 180+ days

My first response was with the assumption that you are employed by an employer in USA, and not that your employer is a UK company based in UK and you were deputed on an assignment to USA (which is a different scenario).

All of your earnings can be from your job outside UK. Suggest run yourself through the points calculator on ukba site.

Re: Tier 1 ext - out of country 180+ days

180 days rule is for ILR. It will not affect your Tier1 extension (as long as you meet your earnings criteria for tier1 extn). However you need to assess your eligibility for ILR, given no ILRs after April 2018, if you wish to go for ILR before 2018. Assume you apply for ILR on 5th April 2018, you s...

tier1 general dependant apply in UK or India ?

Isn't it good option to apply from india then ? Even if you take into account flight cost appr £500, it will be £1374. Has any one applied from In...
