Hi All
I am due for my ILR in January 2015 & my wife (dependent) is here with me from last 3 years. She went to India last year for continuous 4 months. Is it going to be any problem when I apply for our ILR in January.

hi _Amber, for this we need to use online PBS calculator as Tier 1 General applicant, right ? if we use PBS calculator as Tier 2 General then there are no points awarded for qualification itself only points for english language. I assume you are applying a PBS applicant? Yes, you must both meet B1 in addition to LIUK. If you spouse is awarded 20 points or more for qualification and 10 for English Skills on the PBS calculator, then a print out should suffice B1. Hi Amber & Neeti I am on Tier 1 (General) High Skilled. I ...

I am on Tier 1 (General) High Skilled. I assume that I a don't need ESOL because I did my masters from UK but not sure about my wife as she has done her engineering from India.

Can you please advise if she need to do ESOL.
