Re: How many days has UK NARIC took to process your applicat

applied on 6th April. (SOC) It was posted today on 29th April. Another 3 days to receive it. That is 15 working days for them to complete (without post). UK NARIC is probably the worst company. What they do is change your applicaiton date to the date when they start looking at your case and then ca...

Re: ILR proof for Citizenship

Hi senior members, My date of appointment with NCS is very near. I am feeling less confident about ILR approval period. MY ILR was approved in May 2013. However I lost BRP in dec 2013 and received replacement BRP in Jan 2014. How to handle this situation? As advised by Jambo above, just provide the...

what documents to use for english language requirement

I have been reading various posts on the forum but I am very confused now. Can someone please help me. Here is my situation. Applying for naturalization as a spouse of a british citizen. I have a foreign masters degree from a non-english speaking country but the degree was taught in English. I have ...

Re: Joint application fee for UK Citizenship

Hi, As per the new fee structure for 2014 published by the home office, there is no mention about the joint applciation fee for naturalisation to UK citizenship. Have they stopped accepting joint application fees? I have been asked by NCS to pay for the joint application separately as 2 individual ...

Home Office will decide the council for your ceremony on the basis of your current address.
If you want to change it then there is a rather long and time consuming process to request a change once you have received a ceremony invitation after your approval.

As long as you visa allows you to work without any limitation on working hours etc employers will be ok with it. Also job market for software engineering is pretty good these days at least in london and surrounding areas.

Re: How to send docs

I would recommend using NCS. They do charge you some money but you get to keep originals which is a massive plus point. I have seen a number of posts on the forum where HO did not return all the documents or lost them. Also it is another set of eyes to make sure everything is in order. your choice t...

Re: I Applied for BC but got caught for speeding!!

Strictly my personal view - I would take my chances and not inform HO particular if it is likely i get the naturalisation feedback within 6-8 weeks. If you are lucky, you would get your reponse within the next 3-5 weeks. I am no expert but I would strongly advice against not informing HO. The decla...

Re: February 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

To sum up the letters...... As far as I know (by reading the forum and personal experience) If you apply using NCS: then you get one letter only. The title of the letter is something like "Citizenship Invitation". It says that the application is approved and it also asks you to contact the...

Why did you send your BRP to the passport office?
The question is for my own benefit. I have recently applied for my first adult passport after naturalization and I did not send my BRP. Was I supposed to send it??

Re: Any one knows a good immigration barrister to handle my

I think these letters should be enough to prove you were in the UK so holidays/absence is not really the issue here. The real question should be " Will UKBA consider this period a break in the continuous residence? " because you mention now that they asked you not to get involved in paid e...

Re: Any one knows a good immigration barrister to handle my

I don't think you need a solicitor really. All he is going to do it to write a cover letter explaining what you have just explained and attach proof to support your story. I think you can do all of that on your own. I would say write a cover letter, attach any correspondance letters you had with hea...

AN Form 1.23-1.30 - Parents exact date of birth not known

Applying for naturalization via T1G-ILR route. Form AN 1.23-1.30 ask for details of the parents.
