I still can not understand why HO processes SET M applications quicker than SET O. Did anyone ask this question?

Have got my biometrics invitation today via my adviser. Waiting for originals through the post. Yey, just saw this, we are indeed following the very similar timelines! I got my invite off my adviser but my actual invite never came through. I immensely hate the mail man in my area who never delivers...

Yes, I did receive my acknowledgement letter and I have reference number. However, lady on the phone said that this was the payment acknowledgement ref number. She just said that case was not in the system. I know sounds ridiculous, but that is the reality of the process. )))))))))))) To be honest,...

To all the people who have applied with 5 yr work permit basis before October 2012, Did you send your work permit with your postal app? I was not told to include this by my legal adviser, but my friend who applied in person in October was. My bio invite is taking too long and I began wondering that...

After 20 minutes wait a good lady picked up my call and informed me that a biomeric form was sent out yesterday (22/10/2012). I should get the letter in 5 working days or so. Can anyone tell me what is the average time for SET(O) -5 year work permit? It is ridiculous that they keep your passport for months If we, SET(O) applicants, knew such info forums like this would not exist. You are absolutely right. It does seem very strange. My guess is, that the number of applicants under SET(M) is less than under SET(O). Perhaps, that is why it takes longer to process SET(O) applications.
