Re: Application fees

Thank you. Could you please tell me if I am eligible to apply for ILR? I came to the UK in April 2012 on tier 1 dependent visa. So, does the 2 year rule or the 5 year rule apply to me? If 2 years, should I use SET (O) application form? since I extended my stay as a PBS dependent in Nov 2012. Really ...

Re: ILR which application to use?

Thank you for taking time to reply. He applied for ilr on the basis of 5 year stay and not 10 year. I read somewhere on this forum that there is going to be a change in rule on april 6th regarding the dependent ilr applications. Do you think that applies to my application as well??

ILR eligibility

Hi
I got my tier 1 dependent visa in dec 2011, but came here to the uk in april 2012.. that is after 92 days.

Do you think it's worth trying to apply for my ILR in December itself?

Thanks in advance.

My husband had the same problem. While booking the test , he had mistakenly put his name as surname and surname as his name. He realized only 2 days before the test. He cancelled the test ( lost the test fee ) and gave it again next week filling in the correct name and surnames. I personally don't t...

Yes, it would matter greatly as the requirements under the new rules are very different, and you would not qualify for those rules based on the list you have provided. That is why I asked; it was not intended to frustrate you. The information you get out of this community is only as good as the inf...

I am applying as a dependent of a settled person.
My husband got his ILR recently.
I got leave to remain as a dependent of tier 1 on in dec 2011 and I came to the UK in April 2012-- 92 days after my visa was granted. Would it matter?

The payslips were originals. So we did not have to get them attested. I don't think a employer letter is mandatory, but our caseworker wanted it.
