UPDATE:

The advisor on the phone explained there is no need to send the passport if it was seen at the biometrics appointment. If it is required a caseworker will contact the applicant.

Re: FLR (M) - Can they refuse if british child involved?

Update for anyone interested:

Positive result as leave was granted for a further 30 months. With regards to the financial situation I decided to leave my wife's income out of the equation to avoid confusion.

FLR (M) - Can they refuse if british child involved?

Hello All, My wife is due to apply for the first extension to her spouse visa. Visa ends 9th October 2015. Her 2.5 year period ends 24th August 2015. I am quite confident we have enough to cover nearly all the evidence required. The only point I have a concern with is that although my income is well...

Re: Spouse Visa Finance requirment missing document

I made the exact same error when my wife applied for her spouse visa in 2012 (post July). I also contemplated sending in the VAT return after submitting the application. After a lot of thought and advice from members on this forum I decided to leave it. It worked out well for us as the visa was gran...

Thank you EUsmileWEallsmile , you have made my day with that piece of advice. Ok so my options are: Flying straight to Italy which can only be done after applying for a schengen visa. If I was to choose this route can someone advise on the timeline for the italian embassy to issue a visa. OR Driving...

I have read through the 10 pages of this thread. At some points I feel confident I have found my answer then when reading on it gets confusing. So here is my simple scenario: I am british, my wife holds a non European passport but has a spouse visa (leave to remain) so is a resident in the UK. I was...

EXPECTING REFUSAL

It is re-assuring to see that changes have been made to clarify the situation regarding the audited accounts requirement. My wife submitted her application on the 9th November 2012 and up to now I was quietly confident of a successful decision. I repeatedly read through the application form and poin...
