Re: 10 years work history or 5 years?

There is a part which states the date you first intended to stay permanently, I guess if you put a date 6 years back then you only need to provide that much history. Better to check with NCS but you said 14th and that's a Sunday?

Re: Biometric card returned but passport office needs to see

I did not get any such letter when I got my ILR explicitly stating that I have been granted indef leave to remain. My friend who applied a year before me at PEO did get such a letter. The level of incompetency at process level within HO is astonishing. OP should redirect them to gov.uk which require...

Re: Spouse Visa advice

Is it possible to delay this 30 day visa to a later date? If not, as I said above, would it be possible for her to come for a 1-2 weeks, collect the BRP card and go back? Also, when does the actual spouse visa (i.e. 30/33months one) get issued then? From my own experience: -Not sure if you can dela...

Re: Canada immigration effect on naturalisation application

Thanks for that. It is true what they have said as some people take dual to mean 2 but it in effect means more than 1, which is 2,3,4 etc although it is unlikely some one will have that many.

Re: Informing HMRC after British Citizenship

In some other countries, such as the US, they actively encourage you to let the Social Security Admin know you are now a citizen, not here in the UK.

I guess electoral roll is a good point and you should get a reminder from the council every year to ensure details are up to date.

Re: Applying Naturalization and Passport at same time

Yes, it's the new design from November 2015. Apparently they change every 5 years. I misjudged the number of pages in the standard passport, as its appears to be half the size of my current standard size foreign passport. I presume time will tell if I'll need to get a replacement before the 10 year...
