Re: ILR post 6 years Discretionary Leave (13 days missing)

vinny thank you for your links very useful. I guess we will book a day service and hope we can achieve more by having face to face conversation. We will take SET (O) guidance of 28 days as a base...They should not have overlapped his 1st 3 year visa by these 13 days but started next 3 years form the...

Re: ILR post 6 years Discretionary Leave (13 days missing)

Hello Casa, thank you for your reply. Did you come across similar cases? The issue is I called HO and was told the latter, ie to apply for FLR (O) as an extension to DL, even for 13 days.. The adviser didn't sound too confident hence I am trying to understand our options.. Assuming we can apply for ...

Extension of Outside of Immigration Rules Visa - PO?

Hi all, was just about to book an appointment to extend the LOTR in one of the POs and it seems that this is not the option :( Anyone has experience of doing this in person or postal application is the only option? Current LOTR was granted almost 3 years ago after winning appeal. Also, would be real...

This is great thank you for clarifying! Regarding the other parent - he does not have ILR unfortunately. He is on outside of immigration rules visa even though he has been in the country for over 5 years, initially as my dependent, like our daughter. He was refused a visa due to a traffic offense wh...

Naturalisation for non UK born child

Hello, I am planning to apply for Naturalisation based on Long Residence + 1 year ILR. My 17 yo daughter got her ILR 5 months ago (after being my dependent while I remained here as a student and then Tier 2 worker). She has been in the country just over 5 years now. The question: can she apply at th...
