As per rules you are supposed to provide evidences that you were staying together with ur husband for 2 years. Not sure if the maternity absence will be considered in your favor.Worth checking with settlementopspolicy@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
When did her vis aexpire? Also did you try reaching the HO? What was their response? If you withdraw you have to wait for them to send back the documents..
@desiboys: Providing absence letter from employer is always good to support ur absence. However the key thin here is that you had applied for extension outside UK and that you were not on UK payroll for more than a month. If you can prepare yourself with proper justification you will be fine.
