Re: List of documents for tier 2 ILR

Thanks a lot for your comments. I've just booked an appointment at Croydon in a couple of weeks. My employer has mentioned that in the letter, thanks for reminding and letting me know about the requirements regarding pay slips and statements.

Re: Is Help To Buy considered as public fund?

@jai23155 Are you eligible to get help to buy on tier 2 visa? I'm in a similar situation, my HTB equity loan has been approved and the whole deal is through a mortgage broker. I'm not sure if he ever mentioned about my visa status to the authority. I'm going to call them to confirm. I could not find...

Re: Tier 2 for myself, tier 1 for wife, now applying for ilr

Sorry for using the terminology vaguely. I meant getting an ILR for myself (currently on tier 2) as dependent on my wife who is currently on tier 1 and applying for ILR. ( both applying at same time) The eligibility criteria as mentioned above are for someone who intends to apply for ILR as a depend...

Re: Tier 2 for myself, tier 1 for wife, now applying for ilr

Thanks a lot for such a lovely piece of advice. In response to following point: "2) Can me and our daughter apply at the same time as her dependants? Do I stand a risk of being rejected because I've not been in this country for 5 years and also don't qualify that 90 days window period? No, you ...

Tier 2 for myself, tier 1 for wife, now applying for ilr

We had our first child here in 2011, who is on a dependent visa on me. We both got extensions for 3 years each on tier 1 and 2 ...

Still waiting for tier 1 extension!

I can clearly see lot of people are waiting for their tier 1 extension to come back. My wife applied for same (general) about 3 and half months ago and we are still waiting. A lot of our programmes are getting affected because of that, and am sure it's same with lot of other people as well. Is there...

Can I apply for tier 2 extension from India?

I'm currently working in UK, and my tier 2 is going to expire on 19/10/12. Am still waiting for my new CoS, which hopefully I should be getting in next few days. Can I apply for extension of my visa from India as I was planning to go to India in a couple of weeks? Also, if my visa expires on 19/10/1...
